Self-serve dbt + Airflow platform
CI/CD that deploys dbt models with default tests and generates Airflow DAGs automatically, so any team can ship a production pipeline without a data-platform ticket.
I build the plumbing that lets 6,000+ engineers at Volvo Cars ship data without filing a ticket with me first. Before that, I kept 500M+ rows of trading data flowing for S&P Global. Mostly, I make data boring. The good kind of boring.
The ones I'm allowed to share, anyway. All from systems running in production today. yes, I double-checked them
I'm a Data Engineer at Volvo Cars. My job is to make sure product teams can build, test and govern their own pipelines on dbt, Airflow and Snowflake, so nobody has to wait on a central data team (including me).
Before that I spent 3+ years at Cognizant on the S&P Global account, looking after batch and streaming pipelines for U.S. capital-markets data on AWS. Somewhere in there I became the only engineer on the account promoted in 2024.
I care a lot about the unglamorous stuff that makes data trustworthy: tests, contracts, SLAs, and alerts that wake up the right person at 2am. Ideally not me.
No to-do apps here. These are real systems with real users, who would message me pretty quickly if any of them broke.

An Open Data Contract Standard (ODCS) builder with schema validation, Snowflake DDL import, data-quality rules and LLM-assisted drafting.
FastAPI + React app that publishes data products to OpenMetadata, with Azure OpenAI auto-tagging of tables and columns.
Teams declare data classification and country-of-origin in dbt config; a GitHub workflow applies Snowflake tags through per-team roles.
Multi-step PySpark batch and Kinesis streaming pipelines on an AWS EMR + S3 lake, tuned with caching, multithreading and broadcast joins.
One framework across AWS EMR and Azure Databricks that reads each workload's profile and allocates compute to match, instead of one-size-fits-all clusters.
Co-authored a merged feature pull request to data-contract-x, an open-source CLI for working with data contracts.
View merged PR ↗Four years, two companies, one recurring theme: making pipelines someone else can rely on.
What I reach for, roughly in order of how lost I'd be without it. The highlighted ones I use pretty much daily.

I'm open to Data Engineer and Senior Data Engineer roles on platform, reliability and governance teams, and happy to relocate. Or just say hi. I reply faster than a well-tuned Spark job.
